Reading List

One of the problems I’ve had with putting together a reading list is that it changes frequently and maintaining versions of a text-based list becomes a mess and a chore.

I re-discovered Zotero the other week. Every time I check back in after a few months or a year of not using it, it’s gotten so much better. The library sharing interface is really wonderful, now. And it also has good collaboration features. I had also forgotten that I once spent many hours adding readings there several years ago, so it felt like finding money in a coat pocket.

I set up a Zotero group for Art Under Risk because I wanted to differentiate it from the mess that is my personal Zotero library, and also open it for the possibility of collaboration. Anybody can browse the library and also join the group to contribute readings. I’ll keep the Zotero updated and post below periodically if there are important updates.

For posterity: here’s the start of the reading list, as of 3/1/2020. A lot of this list was first collated in November 2017, but I’ve culled some and added some.
